We're celebrating the end of the year with a Luau K.L.U.B. Party!

It’s a Luau KLUB party on Tuesday, May 22 from 4:30-6:00 p.m.!!!  Wear your Hawaiian shirts and join us for some fun!  Blue will play matball and enjoy a variety of luau games including Pineapple Bowling and Hula Skirt Relay. Bronze will eat popcorn while watching the movie, Soul Surfer.  A DJ will be here for Silver and we will have a limbo contest, a hula dance contest to crown a Hawaiian King and Queen, as well as an island dessert.  Gold KLUB members will have BBQ, chips, soda, and a variety of video games.  Finally, Platinum can party hop, have their faces painted, and enjoy frozen drinks.  Hope to see you there! Spring K.L.U.B. Cafe: Snow Cones and Recess!

We had beautiful weather for our outdoor K.L.U.B. Cafes this week!  Students enjoyed snow cones with a variety of flavors while playing recess-type games and activities in the parking lot like jump rope, four square, bubbles, hula hoops, and sidewalk chalk.  Everyone had fun as the pictures will tell!

Our last K.L.U.B. Cafe is April 24-25!

As we wind down this school year and celebrate the end of testing, come join us for our last K.L.U.B. Cafe of the year!  We are going outside to enjoy fresh air and to have RECESS!!!  We will have four square, kick ball, hula hoops, jump ropes, ballons, and much more.  Bronze will get a popsicle while Silver - Platinum can bring a friend (friend must be a non-K.L.U.B. member or be on Blue level) and have SNOW CONES!!! If you want to join us for the fun and move levels before the cafes, then turn in summaries by Thursday, April 19 at 4:00 p.m.  See you there!

St. Patty's Day fun!

The K.L.U.B. party last Tuesday was amazing!  The best part was definitely the scavenger hunt as 60+ students consisting of 16 teams ran around the school looking for the next clue, solving riddles, and chasing a giant leprechaun!  The winners took home their own individaul boxes of Lucky Charms cereal.  Good times.

We also crowned a St. Patty's Dance King and Queen!  Congrates to Jasmine J. and Jacob D. for brining home the title! 

Our last party will be Tuesday, May 22, so mark your calendars now!

 

Wow....

How can I put into words how incredibly FABULOUS our trip to The Hunger Games movie was!?!?  The students were awesome, and when we walked into our own, personal theater we were all so excited.  The movie ROCKED and the crowd laughed, screamed, cheered, and clapped throughout the whole movie - it was the BEST!!!  Thank you to NCG Cinemas in Acworth, all the chaperones, the staff at Palmer, and especially to the STUDENTS who read, wrote, and made this possible.  May the odds be ever in your favor....

Hunger Games Event

We had 176 students make Gold or Platinum Level by the deadline of March 13!  Permission slips for the movie went home today (Thursday, March 15) and are due back with the $10.00 for ticket and bus transportation by Wednesday, March 21.  If you have any questions, please contact me.  Otherwise, "May the Odds be Ever in Your Favor."
